The team is offering of two road (Rockford, Ill. in April and Hudson, Wisc. in August) events in 2012 as well as a ‘cross event in Ocotber (Hudson, Wisc.).

Cherry Valley 20k TT (4/15/12)

RACE FLYER: Here

WHERE: Cherry Valley is located Southeast of Rockford. From Chicago or Madison take I-90 (toll) to Rockford to Hwy 20 / I39 South to Hwy 20 (not business 20). Head east on Hwy 20 for about 50 yards and turn right onto Mill Rd then Left to Cherry Valley. Baumann Park is just South of Downtown Cherry Valley.

COURSE: A 20 kilometer out and back course. Start line is on River Rd. south of railroad tracks at Deer Run. From start line ride South for 3mi. then turn right onto Fairdale Rd./East Line Rd for 5.5 miles. Turn around just before Hwy 72 and return on same course to the finish near Start at Deer Run. This avoids racing over railroad tracks and being stopped by trains.

STARTING ORDER: 9 a.m. start. One-minute intervals. Starts based on order of registration.

REGISTRATION and ENTRY FEES: Will open at 8 a.m. at Baumann Park, 298 S. Walnut St., Cherry Valley, IL.

PRE-REGISTRATION: $20 to April 13 (RACE DAY registration $25). Juniors racing in Junior categories race for $5 /day. Racers who choose to compete in more than one category or for a faster time may for $10.

*ABR membership required, Annual license $25, Junior (<19) Annual $10, One day $5

Big Ring Flyers Time Trial Classic  (8/25/12)

RACE FLYER: Here

WHERE: Approximately 5 Miles NE of Hudson. Specifically, the start/finish is 2 miles north of County E on County I at the intersection of County I & Valley View Trail.

COURSE: The 19.3-mile Time Trial Course is comprised of short rolling hills to start, followed by a flat section with some longer descents and climbs later in the route.

ENTRY FEES: Pre-registration postmarked on or before August 18th is $20.00, thereafter $25.00.

($20 per person flat fee for TT team riders — including day of registration)

Discount rates for college students-$15 and youth-$10

A family rate of 3 or more members available till August 18th for $15 for each member.

On-site registration is available from 8:00 am – 9:30 am.
